2 weeks agoVery nice old home setting. Good variety on the menu. I ordered the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and Waldorf salad. It was all very good! I saw folks with burgers and club sandwiches that looked absolutely amazing. They all said it was great.

3 months agoIf you’re in Augusta, do yourself a favor and eat at McNeely’s Place. Everything about this restaurant is wonderful — the food, the atmosphere, and the staff were all top-notch. My husband ordered the pot roast, I had the smothered chicken, and my sister got the country fried steak, and every single plate was incredible. You can tell everything is homemade and made with care. If there’s a wait, I promise it’s worth it. And when they ask what kind of bread you want… get the pineapple banana nut bread. It was some of the best I’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be back!

3 months agoHad a great lunch there! The special was flounder with two sides. Field peas and rice n gravy! Jalapeno cornbread was tasty as well.

3 months agoIts a converted house. Absolutely delightful! The food is delicious, and the staff are gracious. There are salads and sandwiches as well as entrees like fried flounder, meatloaf, and fried pork tenderloin. The sides are amazing such as real mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, field peas, broccoli salad, etc. The pineapple banana bread is straight from heaven. Whenever Im in N. Augusta, I make a point of stopping at McNeely's!!!

3 months agoWe had the best food ever on a cute little porch today! The food was amazing, absolutely no complaints. It arrived so quickly I am still in disbelief that it was all homemade but it definitely is! Mandie is a ray of sunshine, so sweet and too cute. I am going to dream about the visit until I can stop back from Columbia!

6 months agoA cozy atmosphere and home cooked meals- what’s not to love!? Truly a gem to have this place in North Augusta! Service and food are exceptional! I have worked fine dining for 10 years, and this place truly hits every mark in terms of food presentation, service, and quality of the food despite not being fine dining. The servers are always so kind and attentive- I didn’t have to ask for anything once. The care and love that goes into this place is so clear based on how the employees act and the quality of the food. We will definitely be back!

7 months agoThe perfect spot! The Best homemade food around. Today on order was a savory chicken pot pie, broccoli salad as well as a cucumber and tomato salad. All time favorite, BLT...loaded with bacon. Another plus to my now favorite spot is, for $6.50 you can take home a homemade frozen dinner, the serving is a healthy size. Ask your server for details. Service was stellar. We loved our server, she made perfect suggestions and was very personable. When I'm back in town, this may be my only place to eat!
